💳 Splitting the Cost

How we collect, hold, and distribute the group fund — keeping it fair and transparent for everyone.

Headcount lock deadline: Sep 1, 2026. Once confirmed, each traveler's share is calculated and invoiced within 48 hours via Montu.
Full per-person deposit due Oct 1, 2026. This covers your entire portion — lodging, transport, activities, and food pool contribution. Fully refundable if the group falls below 15 adults by Nov 1, 2026.
Group fund held in a dedicated account. Montu holds funds in a separate account. Monthly statements will be shared with all deposited members via group chat.
Leftover buffer returned pro-rata. Any unspent contingency buffer is refunded equally to all participants within 30 days of returning home.
Suggested payment method: Interac e-Transfer or wire. Avoids credit card processing fees — keeping an extra ~2.5% in the trip fund.
